Raiders' Khalil Mack named AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Oakland Raiders linebacker Khalil Mack was named the AFC's Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday after a dominant performance in the team's Week 14 win over the Denver Bronocos.

Mack accomplished something that not even J.J. Watt has been able to do -- rack up 5 sacks in one single game. He also tied a franchise record for the most sacks in one game. This marks the first time in Mack's career that he has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

After a dominant rookie season defending the run, Mack is finally converting his quarterback pressures into sacks. Following Sunday's performance, Mack now leads the NFL with 14.0 sacks this season. He has racked up 9 of those sacks in his past three games.
