Raiders draft WR Juron Criner 168th overall
The Oakland Raiders have selected Arizona receiver Juron Criner with their second pick in the fifth round.
The Raiders took Criner 168th overall Saturday with a compensatory pick.
Criner had 75 catches for 956 yards and 11 touchdowns last season for Arizona. He was a productive player for the Wildcats with 31 touchdowns and 202 catches his final three seasons but lacks the top-end speed the Raiders usually targeted in receivers.
Oakland previously drafted Utah's Tony Bergstrom at the end of the third round and San Diego State linebacker Miles Burris at the end of the fifth.
The Raiders traded their own fifth-round pick to Detroit to move down 10 spots and select Penn State defensive end Jack Crawford. Oakland also got a seventh-round pick in the deal.
