QB, secondary could be targets for Bears as draft winds down

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) The Chicago Bears might target a quarterback and add to their secondary on the third and final day of the draft.

They have seven picks left for Saturday, and general manager Ryan Pace says the remaining talent pool is deep.

The Bears still need help in the secondary as well as a quarterback who could push for the backup job if not be groomed to replace Jay Cutler. They have three fourth-round picks, a fifth-rounder, two sixth-rounders and a seventh-round pick.

Chicago drafted Georgia outside linebacker Leonard Floyd with the ninth pick on Thursday, and took Kansas State guard Cody Whitehair and Florida defensive tackle Jonathan Bullard in the second and third rounds on Friday.
