Pumped for Week 1! Jags' Brown can't wait to hunt for Cam Newton

The feeling is building.

The first Sunday of the NFL season is a special day. New faces are in new places and hopes are high. For Jacksonville Jaguars safety Sergio Brown, Sunday is his first chance to impress his new team's fans with a strong performance against Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers.

Brown is fired up. He's ready ... and he's sharing his thoughts from the locker room in the video above.

But, who else around the league can't wait to get started? Let's do a short lap.

Arizona Cardinals tackle Jared Veldheer

In case you didn't know, it's pretty damn hot in the desert. But just like the weather outside, Veldheer is feeling pretty sunny about his team's chances against the New Orleans Saints:

Hope the Saints are ready.

San Diego Chargers defensive tackle Corey Liuget

Don't think Corey isn't taking Sunday afternoon's game seriously. He knows all about the impressive weapons the Lions have on offense: Calvin Johnson, Matthew Stafford, the list goes on ...

But don't worry, Corey is ready to stick his hand in the dirt and make some noise:

It's going to be a battle. Bolt up, baby!

New York Jets tight end Jeff Cumberland

We managed to catch the big man with his legs in compression boots. While it does wonders for recovery after a strenuous workout, it does make him look like Darth Vader from the waist down.

Cumberland shares some heartfelt thoughts for the people of New York on the anniversary of 9/11 as he gets set to take on the Browns.

Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Cedric Thornton and offensive tackle Lane Johnson

The Eagles are going to have to wait until Monday night for their first game action of the 2015. But Thornton is already feeling energized as he checks in with us before heading out for a walkthrough:

Then Johnson, the big man out of Oklahoma, is sporting a nifty beard and hanging out with fellow tackle Jason Peters. Let's hear how their preparation is going:

Green Bay Packers linebacker Sam Barrington

There's nothing like a division game to get the blood pumping. Sam checks in with us from his hotel room as his Packers keep a low profile until they get started at Soldier Field on Sunday.
