Projected 2017 NFL Draft Order: Week 14

This is an updated projection of the 2017 NFL Draft order based on last weeks results.

My latest look at a potential 2017 NFL Draft order uses ESPN most recent Power Rankings as a base with a playoff scenario factored in.

The trend over the past several weeks has been positive for the Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans as far as draft position is concerned. Cleveland looks like a lock to grab the No. 1 pick and the Philadelphia Eagles recent slide brings that pick closer to the top-10.

Tennessee has put themselves in the playoff picture, but the Los Angeles Rams continue to struggle which keeps open the possibility the Titans land a top-5 pick. Landing that early of a pick and making a playoff run is awesome.

The loser as far as draft positioning is the Chicago Bears who drop from No. 3 overall to No. 5 in this latest projection. Their win over the San Francisco 49ers showed they still have some talent on this team and possibly capable of winning a few more games.

It’s a little shocking to see the New York Jets projected so early based on how optimistic things looked heading in to the year.

We still have a few more weeks to go which means we could see a lot more changes. However, the top two picks look close to being locked into place.
