Pro Bowl warmups marked by rain
Warmups for the Pro Bowl are taking place in a drizzle, bringing back memories of a rainy Super Bowl three years ago in the same stadium.
Sunday's conditions across South Florida were overcast, and forecasters said showers were possible but unlikely. Shortly after the teams took the field to get loose, a steady, light rain began to fall, keeping most of the sellout crowd in the concourses for the warmup period.
The National Weather Service said a slight chance of showers would persist through Sunday evening, with the best chance of heavier showers in Monday's early hours.
Miami was also the site of the only rainy Super Bowl in 2007.
It was sunny and 82 degrees Sunday afternoon in Honolulu, the Pro Bowl's home for the last three decades.
