Philadelphia Eagles unveil their 2016 Color Rush uniforms

Philadelphia Eagles unveil their Color Rush uniforms.

The Philadelphia Eagles have officially unveiled their 2016 Color Rush uniforms, which the team will wear in Week 16 against the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football.

While some team’s Color Rush uniforms are a little out there, the Eagles are going with a uniform combination that’s a proven winner.

For the third year in a row, the Eagles will be sporting their all-black uniforms at home against the Giants. The all-black unis were first worn in a 2014 Sunday night matchup against New York and have since become a fashionable alternate for the Eagles.

This past spring, it was believed that the Eagles would be wearing an all-grey uniform for their Color Rush game against the Giants, but that obviously will not be the case. And thank God, because those would have looked horrible.

It is slightly disappointing that the Eagles won’t be wearing something completely new for their Color Rush game, but I guess it’s better to wear something familiar than it is sport a disgusting new uniform that makes your eyes bleed.
