Phil Jackson takes shot at Daniel Snyder, supports anti-Redskins movement

Phil Jackson is among the many who want to see the Washington Redskins change their name.

The New York Knicks president tweeted his support Monday night for weekend protests in Minnesota outside the Redskins-Vikings game. Thousands of protesters came together in a continued effort to get the Redskins change their name.

Jackson, of course, is referencing Washington owner Daniel Snyder, who has dug his heels in on keeping the Redskins name intact.

Jackson’s support of Native Americans is nothing new. The Hall of Fame coach used Native American teachings in his coaching as head coach of the Chicago Bulls decorated the team room with Native American artifacts.
