He's hanging up his spikes … for now.

Respected veteran QB Chad Pennington is taking a year off from football and will join NFL on FOX game broadcasts starting this fall on a one-year contract. He'll be partnered up with Sam Rosen and will bring his considerable knowledge attained after an 11-year professional career to the booth.
