Patriots WR Edelman on broken foot: 'Tough times don't last, tough people do'
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady spoke at length on Monday how difficult it will be to replace slot specialist Julian Edelman.
As FS1 NFL insider Mike Garafolo first reported on Sunday night, Edelman broke a bone in his foot and will be sidelined for likely six weeks.
Edelman, the Patriots' second-leading receiver, broke his silence on Twitter Monday afternoon.
Tough times don't last, tough people do. #gopats

Edelman's injury comes one week after the Patriots lost running back Dion Lewis for the season.
While the Patriots have a sparkling 9-0 record, they host a feisty Buffalo Bills club next Monday night.
