Panthers TE Greg Olsen, RB Jonathan Stewart leave with injuries

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen and running back Jonathan Stewart have left Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons with injuries and their returns are questionable.

Olsen injured his left knee and Stewart his left ankle, the team announced.

It's possible both players will not return with the Panthers holding a commanding 31-0 lead in the third quarter and cruising toward another win, which would earn them a first-round bye in the playoffs.

Neither appeared seriously injured and both were standing on the sideline in uniform in the third quarter.

Fozzy Whittaker has replaced Stewart at running back, while Ed Dickson is working at Olsen's spot.

Olsen twisted his knee awkwardly while trying to catch a pass in the end zone near the end of the first half.
