Packers sign Neal, only Bulaga left

The Green Bay Packers signed second-round pick Mike Neal on Monday, leaving only first-rounder Bryan Bulaga unsigned from April's draft.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Neal is a defensive end who played four years at Purdue. He started 23 games and appeared in 46 overall, making 99 tackles including 13 sacks.

He will have a chance at extensive playing time in a rotation that includes Cullen Jenkins, Ryan Pickett and B.J. Raji after Johnny Jolly was suspended for the year for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Neal announced his signing earlier in the day on Twitter and encouraged Bulaga to complete his negotiations as well.

Players report Friday for training camp and practice for the first time Saturday.
