Packers-Eagles leads to Fox's best Week 1 rating
Sunday's national game on Fox, mainly Packers-Eagles, earned its highest rating for the first weekend of the season since the network started televising the NFL in 1994.
Green Bay's 27-20 win in Kevin Kolb's short-lived debut as Philadelphia's full-time starter helped draw a 16.5 rating and 32 share. Fox said Tuesday that the rating was up 11 percent from last year.
Ratings represent the percentage of all homes with televisions tuned into a program. Shares represent the percentage of all homes with TVs in use at the time.
