Oh look, another Broncos defender was named AFC Player of the Week

Derek Wolfe just won AFC Player of the Week honors for his inspired play against the Packers.

He can just throw it on the growing award pile in Denver. Wolfe is the third Broncos defender to receive that recognition in eight weeks.

Wolfe did have a standout night. He tallied a career-high seven tackles, including one for a loss. His group held the Packers to 224 yards below their season average.

It's already old hat, though. Cornerback Aqib Talib (Week 1) and safety T.J. Ward (Week 4) already have AFC Player of the Week honors of their own.

The only award that'll matter to Wolfe and Co. is the football-shaped one they hand out in February.
