Odell Beckham, Victor Cruz working on tandem TD celebration

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who adopted “The Whip” as his touchdown celebration dance during his rookie season, wants to join his salsa-dancing teammate Victor Cruz in a tandem touchdown celebration next season.

"He wants to do a dual kind of end zone celebration between him and I. We haven’t come up with it just yet,” Beckham said of Cruz during a promotional event last week, via the NY Daily News. “The question is, I don’t know if he wants to do it when I score a touchdown or when he scores a touchdown. That’s the only question we really have to ask.”

As we can tell, this is going to take some serious pondering over the summer. I mean if Cruz scores, do both guys salsa together? If Beckham scores, will both get their whip action on? Maybe they will come up with a combination of both dances.

While this will certainly be a hot topic to follow come the NFL regular season, Cruz celebrating any touchdowns early in the year might be a stretch, especially considering he is still on the mend from his surgery this past season.

If the duo does create a blended touchdown celebration, definitely do not look for iPhone-impaired head coach Tom Coughlin to be on the sidelines recording his guys.
