Obama congratulates Pack on NFC title

Crushed when the Green Bay Packers defeated his beloved Chicago Bears to win the NFC championship, President Barack Obama says his team will even the score next year.

En route to an economy speech in Wisconsin, Obama called Sunday "a tough day for Bears fans." He said that even though his team didn't prevail, "I'm glad to see that one of the greatest rivalries in sports is still there. And we will get you next year. I'm just letting you know."

Obama had said he would go to Super Bowl on Feb. 6 if the Bears won last week. The Packers did, 21-14.

Obama congratulated the Packers on winning the championship.

He said, "In the spirit of sportsmanship, I wish you 'good luck' in the Super Bowl.".
