Nick Foles reportedly agrees to terms with Chiefs, reunites with Andy Reid
Nick Foles is no longer looking for work. The Kansas City Chiefs agreed to terms with the fourth-year quarterback a week after he was released by the Rams, NFL.com reported Wednesday.
The deal means Foles will be reunited with head coach Andy Reid, who coached Foles in Philadelphia during his rookie season in 2012. Under Reid, Foles threw for 1,699 yards with six touchdowns and five interceptions in seven games.
NFL.com reported that the Vikings and Cowboys also made offers to Foles.

Foles had a breakout year in 2013 under then-Eagles head coach Chip Kelly, throwing for 2,891 yards with 27 touchdowns and two interceptions. But Foles hasn't been able to duplicate that kind of efficiency.
Foles was released by the Rams last week after one season. He threw for 2,052 yards with seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 2015. The Rams drafted QB Jared Goff with the No. 1 pick in the draft in April.
Foles likely will compete with Aaron Murray for the backup role behind incumbent starter Alex Smith.
