NFL Week 11 injury roundup: A.J. Green, T.J. Yeldon go down

The Jaguars offense was hit hard by injuries in Week 11’s game against the Lions.

Tight end Marcedes Lewis (calf) and running back T.J. Yeldon (ankle) were both ruled out for the game, as was left guard Patrick Omameh.

Yeldon’s workload has decreased in his second NFL season and he has struggled to break off long runs. He is averaging 3.6 yards per carry and his longest run of the year is 16 yards. Lewis is the team’s second tight end, behind Julius Thomas.

The biggest injury of the day was to Bengals receiver A.J. Green, who was carted off with a hamstring issue.

A full list of injuries we’re tracking is below.

A.J. Green, Bengals — Hamstring, out

Green is far and away the Bengals’ top receiver. He has 66 catches for 964 yards in nine games this season. No other Cincinnati pass-catcher has more than 34 catches or 387 yards.

T.J. Yeldon, Jaguars — Ankle, out

Yeldon’s injury means more carries for Chris Ivory and Denard Robinson.

Marcedes Lewis, Jaguars — Calf, out

Lewis has 18 catches for 153 yards and a touchdown this season.

Josh Sitton, Bears — Ankle, out

Sitton, an All-Pro left guard, had his lower leg stepped on by Jason Pierre-Paul.

Zach Miller, Bears — Foot, out

Previously used primarily as a blocker, Miller has emerged as a top receiving option for Jay Cutler.
