NFL TV Schedule and Broadcast Map: Week 3

Taking a look at the NFL TV schedule for Week 3 of the 2016 season in addition to the broadcast coverage map

Rightfully so, there is a great deal of anticipation for the Week 3 of the 2016 NFL season. After a raucous first two weeks of the year, the matchups seem to only be getting better. There are rivalries, big division matchups, and more to keep an eye on in Week 3. Thus, everyone is making sure they can watch these games, hoping the NFL TV schedule agrees with them.

Given these titanic matchups set to ensue on Sunday, there’s good reason to want to check out every bit of the action. Who wouldn’t want to see Josh Norman and Odell Beckham Jr. go at it again? Moreover, why would you want to miss a matchup like the Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals doing battle?

Frankly, I can’t think of a reason edgewise why you should be missing these games on Sunday. So let’s see when you can catch the action.

Here’s a look at the NFL TV schedule for Week 3 of the season:

Matchup Time (ET) TV Broadcast
Arizona at Buffalo 1 p.m. FOX
Oakland at Tennessee 1 p.m. CBS
Cleveland at Miami 1 p.m. CBS
Baltimore at Jacksonville 1 p.m. CBS
Detroit at Green Bay 1 p.m. FOX
Denver at Cincinnati 1 p.m. CBS
Minnesota at Carolina 1 p.m. FOX
Washington at New York 1 p.m. FOX
Los Angeles at Tampa Bay 4:05 p.m. FOX
San Francisco at Seattle 4:05 p.m. FOX
New York at Kansas City 4:25 p.m. CBS
San Diego at Indianapolis 4:25 p.m. CBS

Chicago at Dallas 8:30 p.m. NBC

And here’s a look at the broadcast coverage maps for Week 3 (via 506 Sports):

Early CBS Games

Key: Denver at Cincinnati (Pink), Cleveland at Miami (Blue), Oakland at Tennessee (Green), Baltimore at Jacksonville (Yellow), No Game Due to Local FOX Broadcast (Gray)

FOX All Day

Key: Washington at NYG (Pink), Arizona at Buffalo (Green), Detroit at Green Bay (Yellow), Minnesota at Carolina (Orange), San Francisco at Seattle, 4:05 p.m. (Dark Blue), Los Angeles at Tampa Bay, 4:05 p.m. (Turquoise)

Late CBS Games

NFL TV Schedule

Key: Pittsburgh at Philadelphia (Pink), NYJ at Kansas City (Blue), San Diego at Indianapolis (Green), No Broadcast Due to Local FOX Game (Gray)

There’s nothing too terribly curious about the coverage maps considering the way the NFL TV schedule shakes out in Week 3. You can see the late CBS games putting the broadcast on by division, which is why Houston and Jacksonville areas are watching Chargers-Colts.

Other than that, though, it’s all pretty standard procedure for the week. When the football plays out, though, we can rest assured that it’ll be anything but that.
