NFL hires 2 new executive vice presidents

The NFL has hired two new executive vice presidents to run its human resources and communications departments.

Robert Gulliver will be the league's first executive vice president over human resources and will also serve as chief diversity officer. Gulliver was head of human resources for a Wells Fargo division in Charlotte, N.C.

Paul Hicks will oversee communications and government affairs. He had served as regional chief executive officer of the Americas for Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. Hicks takes over for Joe Browne, who is now a senior adviser to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
