NFL expert picks NaVorro Bowman to win Defensive Player of the Year

NaVorro Bowman's preseason went about as good as anybody could have hoped.

Even after 19 months away from the gridiron recovering from injury, Bowman looked like he hadn't missed a step.

In NFL.com's award predictions for the 2015 season, Steve Wyche chose the linebacker to win Defensive Player of the Year.

Yes, even over the likes of J.J. Watt, the choice for a majority of the people.

Before injury, Bowman was a legitimate candidate to win the award.

If he plays like he did in the preseason over the course of a 16-game slate, it's not a far-fetched idea.
