New York Jets' website video hammers John Idzik's moves

The New York Jets head into Sunday's finale in Miami with a 3-12 record. And that doesn't sum up the issues the team has faced in 2014.

On Saturday, reports surfaced that Rex Ryan was cleaning out his office, expecting to be fired.

Owner Woody Johnson also plans to hire Charlie Casserly as an organizational consultant in hopes of righting a ship gone wrong.

And now, on the team's own website is a video that chronicles John Idzik's two-year tenure as the team's GM.

Chronicle would be a kind word, as it lambastes most of the moves Idzik made while trying to "rebuild" a franchise that has not seen a Super Bowl since Joe Namath beat the Baltimore Colts on Jan. 12, 1069.

Credit is given for the addition of Sheldon Richardson's No. 1 pick out of Missouri in 2013.

After that, Geno Smith, poor passing, allowing Antonio Cromartie to walk, trading Darrelle Revis, not signing Revis after he was released by Tampa Bay and sitting idly as the arch-rival New England Patriots landed the All-Pro defensive back.
