New York Giants: Odell Beckham Jr. Hugs Kicking Net (Video)
The New York Giants may have lost to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football, but wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. appeared to be having fun.
A lot of the news this week about the New York Giants has been surrounding Odell Beckham Jr. After a few frustrating games against the Washington Redskins and Minnesota Vikings, news came out the Beckham was no longer having fun playing football.
Against the Packers, Beckham was poised to have a bounce-back game against an injured secondary. While the Giants weren’t able to win against the Packers, Beckham did play better in the loss.
Late in the fourth quarter, Beckham was able to catch his first touchdown of the season. After a lengthy review, the call on the field stood. Shortly after, Beckham went running to the kicking net to kick it a big hug and kiss.

This was certainly a great moment to see after images of Beckham hitting the net with his helmet only to have the net come back and hit him in the head circulated the internet against the Redskins. While it appeared that Beckham was back to having some fun, it didn’t result in a Giants win.

The loss to the Packers is the third straight for the Giants, who struggled on the road the past two weeks. The NFC East is shaping up to be a challenging division this season, and the Giants are beginning to fall behind at 2-3 now.
Even though it was late in the game, it was good to see Beckham get his first touchdown reception of the season. Furthermore, if the Giants are going to snap their losing streak, Beckham’s production will have to increase.
