New Ravens S Tony Jefferson used 'Madden' to help guide his free agency decision

Former Arizona Cardinal Tony Jefferson entered free agency as the most coveted safety on the market and exited as a member of the Baltimore Ravens. The 25-year-old inked a four-year, $34 million contract with $19 million guaranteed, and apparently, he didn't simply uproot for the largest offer on the table.

No, Jefferson considered a team's prospects for winning (see above), location (he's a West Coast guy), as well as swag. Here's what Jefferson told NFL Media about his thought process during free agency:

"I am a guy of swagger, so I gotta check the swag at all points before I make a decision. I put myself in different uniforms on Madden to see what will look better. Ravens did look good, though.

Black on blacks, no question. Those [uniforms] are their best combination."

It's something else for teams to consider when crafting their Color Rush uniforms and alternates.
