NaVorro Bowman back with 49ers at minicamp

The San Francisco 49ers had their first voluntary minicamp on Tuesday and 49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman was back on the field for the first time since his devastating injury in the NFC Championship game two years ago against the Seattle Seahawks.

Bowman took to Instagram to announce his return.

This is the first minicamp under new head coach Jim Tomsula. Bowman is one of the few returning starters on defense this year and will be relied upon heavily after the sudden retirements of linebackers Patrick Willis and Chris Borland.
