Mike McCarthy on Green Bay's sideline incident: 'Frankly, I like it'

The past two weeks have not been easy for the Green Bay Packers. After losing to the Denver Broncos in Week 8, a few members of the Packers' defense lost their cool on the sideline during Sunday's loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Although, in general, sideline outbursts don't look good for a struggling team, Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said he liked it.

"I didn't talk about that today," McCarthy said on Monday, per Tom Silverstein of the Journal Sentinel. "I don't have any concerns. Frankly, I like it, it shows our players care. I know what was said afterward."

The scuffle on Green Bay's sideline started when second-year safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix confronted veteran pass-rusher Julius Peppers. Things really got heated when defensive tackle B.J. Raji stepped in and shoved the young defensive back.

Clinton-Dix later apologized for the scene on the sideline in a Tweet.
