Mike Evans makes crazy catch, Keanu Neal lights him up (Video)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans made a crazy one-handed grab for a first down before Atlanta Falcons strong safety Keanu Neal lit him up.

The Atlanta Falcons were handling the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pretty easily in the third quarter of Thursday Night Football in Week 9. However, Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans continued to make mincemeat of the Falcons’ inconsistent secondary.

Here is Evans making one of the sweetest one-handed grabs near the sideline for a first down. That play was incredible by Evans, but so was this menacing hit by Atlanta rookie strong safety Keanu Neal.

Evans is in his third NFL season after starring in the SEC for the Texas A&M Aggies. Neal is in his first year out of the University of Florida. These guys still have a ton of high-level football left in their young careers, but both Evans and Neal look to be future Pro Bowlers in the making.

Has there been as big of a wide receiver that can run and go up and get it as well as Evans? Neal looks to be Falcons head coach Dan Quinn’s Atlanta version of the hard-hitting Kam Chancellor he had when he was the defensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks.

Atlanta will win this game comfortably, but this is a budding rivalry in the NFC South. It has intensified in the last two years with the Tampa Bay coaching staff being formerly employed with the Falcons.

Jameis Winston and Devonta Freeman were teammates on the 2013 National Champion Florida State Seminoles.

Before Thursday Night Football in Tampa Bay, Atlanta had lost three straight to the Buccaneers. It’s a lopsided game in the Falcons’ favor, but there is a ton of young talent on both teams that football fans will certainly enjoy for years. Evans and Neal look fantastic in 2016.
