Miami Dolphins release mid-week injury report

The Miami Dolphins on Wednesday released the mid-week injury report heading into their week two road game against the Patriots.

    Mike Pouncey did not practice and it’s already known he will miss the game as he reovers from a hip injury. The other players who did not practice on Wednesday were Arian Foster with a hamstring injury, linebacker Jelani Jenkins with a knee injury, Jordan Phillips with an ankle injury, and Marion Williams who is in the league concussion protocol.

    Returning to practice was Terrrence Fede and Isaiah Pead. Pead did not play in the season opener.

    On the “limited” list which is part of the NFL’s new injury report designation, Xavien Howard and DeVante Parker were limited in practice. Parker has stated his hamstring feels better but he doesn’t know if he will play this week against the Patriots.

    Howard has a knee injury but nothing has given any indication that it is serious.

    On the other side of the field, New England is notorious for over stating injuries or putting players on the injured list because they have a bruise, have 10 players on their report.

    The only player that did not practice was linebacker Dont’a Hightower. Rob Gronkowski, Malcolm Butler, Jonathan Cooper, Marcus Cannon, Shaq Mason, Trey Flowers, Shea McClellin, and Nate Solder were all limited.

    Last week Gronkowski did not play and it’s not known if he will be ready this week. Nate Solder has returned to practice after missing time with a hamstring injury. He believes he might play this week which bolster the Patriots offensive line.

    New England had 10 players on its injury report, including eight listed as limited participants.
