Megatron is one of two players in NFL history to pull off this feat

Calvin Johnson may own his own corner of the NFL record book one day, but the Detroit Lions wide receiver will have to share this one for now.

Johnson has joined Lance Alworth, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, as the only players in NFL history to average more than 100 yards per game over a 75-game span, according to the Lions' official Twitter account.

Megatron has been almost unstoppable since his first Pro Bowl season in 2010. With unique size (6-5, 237 lbs.) and body control for a player at his position, 100-yard performances have become routine for Johnson. The height of his production came in 2012, when he was averaging 122.8 yards per game and finished with an NFL record 1,964 yards on the season.

Earlier this season, many believed Johnson had lost some of his dominance. The 30-year-old receiver had a resounding response for his critics in Week 6, when he burned the Chicago Bears' secondary for 166 yards and a touchdown on six catches. It was his first 100-yard performance of the 2015 season.
