Matthew Stafford matches 2014 INT total with seven games to spare

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has statistically regressed since last season. After throwing a total of 12 interceptions in 2014, Stafford threw his 12th interception of the 2015 season against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Stafford and the Lions still have seven games left this season, so there's a good chance his interception figure swells even further in the weeks to come. His worst outing of the year came in Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals, when he was benched for throwing three interceptions.

The Lions are in need of a complete rebuild, so the team will likely have to make a tough decision regarding their 27-year-old quarterback this offseason. Detroit will surely take Stafford's rising interception total into account when the time comes to make a decision about his future with the franchise.
