Marvez: Packers hire Brian Angelichio as TE coach
The Green Bay Packers fired two positional coaches after the 2015 season, including tight ends coach Jerry Fontenot. Less than a week later, they found Fontenot's replacement.
The Packers hired former Cleveland Browns tight ends coach Brian Angelichio to take over the job.

Source tells @NFLonFOX that @Packers have hired former @Browns TEs coach Brian Angelichio for same position replacing Jerry Fontenot

Angelichio spent two seasons as the Browns' tight ends coach. When he lost a Pro Bowler in Jordan Cameron following the 2014 season, he helped Gary Barnidge rise to sudden stardom. After seven consecutive seasons with no more than 13 catches, Barnidge erupted with 79 receptions for 1,043 yards and nine touchdowns under Angelichio in 2015.
If Angelichio can pull off this magic with a 30-year-old former fifth-round draft pick, imagine what he could do with Richard Rodgers or any other tight end the Packers may pick up this offseason.
