Marqise Lee likely to miss Jags' minicamp with knee injury

The knee injury that has forced Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Marqise Lee to miss all nine of the team's OTA sessions is likely to keep him out of next week's minicamp as well.

Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley said he doesn't expect Lee to participate in the three-day mandatory camp. The former second-round pick suffered the injury earlier in Jacksonville's offseason program.

"I would say that it will be a higher possibility that we would hold him out," Bradley said, via Hays Carlyon of the Florida Times-Union.

Lee, who caught 37 passes for 422 yards and touchdown as rookie, said he's making progress in his recovery.

"I'm slowly progressing back," Lee said. "The trainers don't want to rush anything. Of course, I want to be out there and I feel like I could be out there. But, we aren't playing yet and I understand the coaches' and trainers' mindsets in getting me fully ready for when we come into training camp."
