Marcus Mariota welcomed to Tennessee with billboard

With the second pick of last week’s NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans took Oregon star Marcus Mariota, who they hope will develop into the team’s franchise quarterback. A billboard has already gone up in Nashville to welcome Mariota to his new home (and sell some season tickets), with the tag-line “this Duck has landed.”

There are questions about Mariota’s transition from Oregon’s system to a more pro-style NFL offense, but there should definitely be more excitement for the Titans with the 2014 Heisman winner under center.
