Manning on Brady's emails: 'I have been roasted. That wasn't a roast"

When Tom Brady's personal emails were released to the public last week, his jabs at Peyton Manning were highly publicized. In them, Brady said Manning only had two years left to his seven or eight, claiming that Peyton is on his "final chapter."

Manning, being the class-act that he is, refrained from firing shots at his rival quarterback. On Wednesday, he broke his silence in a very Manning-esque way after Brady sent an apology text for his comments.

"It wasn't necessary," Manning said. "I have been roasted. That wasn't a roast"

No harm done, apparently. Manning and Brady will still be rivals on the field, it probably won't be for seven or eight more years like Brady believes he'll play for.
