Lyle Sendlein, Earl Watford to join starters along offensive line
The Cardinals offensive line is set.
Head coach Bruce Arians confirmed Lyle Sendlein will start at center and Earl Watford at right tackle in Week 1 vs. New Orleans.
After being released in March, Sendlein was brought back at the beginning of training camp to compete for the starting center position against A.Q. Shipley and Ted Larsen.
Watford, meanwhile, was essentially the de facto starter after Bobby Massie's two-game suspension was announced by the NFL and rookie D.J. Humphries turned in an underwhelming training camp and preseason.
With offseason addition Mike Iupati also sidelined because of knee surgery, the Cardinals offensive line is something to monitor at the start of 2015.
If they fail to protect Carson Palmer, the Cardinals chances of making the postseason drops dramatically.
