Logan Mankins won't rule out retirement this offseason

While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are loaded up with young talent all over both their offense and defense, we can't forget about the multiple talented veterans they have as well. For one specifically, Logan Mankins, he's not ready to shut down the idea of retirement this offseason just yet apparently. When asked about the topic, he made it known that he was unsure on what he'd do.

Via Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times:

"I don't know. I am at the point in my career where I'm going to take a little time and evaluate what I want to do with my family, with myself and my career and see where it goes," Mankins said after the Bucs' 38-10 loss to Carolina.

Mankins was also asked about whether or not last Sunday against the Carolina Panthers may have been his final game.

"Possibly. It could. It might not be. I don't know yet," Mankins said. "A wise guy always use to tell some of the teams I was on to never make a rushed decision after the season. Take a little time to think about it."

Mankins is currently 33 years old, and would still be a very strong asset to Tampa Bay in 2016. It'll be interesting to see how everything unfolds this offseason, but taking guesses at this point about what he'll wind up doing would be nearly impossible to do.
