Local 7-Eleven owners wage war over Tom Brady with...receipts?

From Spygate to Deflategate to winning four Super Bowls, Tom Brady has become one of the most polarizing athletes in the world. Most people either love him or hate him, depending on where they live, and that may not end even when he's elected to the Hall of Fame.

Strangely enough, a couple of 7-Eleven owners demonstrated just how polarizing Brady is with a war involving receipts.

It all started with the owner of a Denver-area 7-Eleven adding "Tom Brady's a Cheater" to the top of the store's receipts a few months ago in the midst of the Deflategate scandal. Well, a Boston-area 7-Eleven store owner caught wind of the shot at Brady and decided to take action.

He responded by putting "Tom Brady is a football God!!" at the top of his store's receipts, with an additional message at the bottom reading "Haters live in Denver!"

According to Yahoo, the owner of the store in Denver said 7-Eleven asked him to stop printing the message on the receipts, so he did. It was all in good fun, but Brady's local fans didn't let it go by the wayside.

This war of receipts is reminiscent of the plane battle from training camp, as well as the bakery who made Deflategate-themed baked goods.
