Listen to the 911 call that led to Ray McDonald's arrest (AUDIO)
The California Highway Patrol has released raw audio of the 911 call that led to the arrest of Chicago Bears defensive lineman Ray McDonald, the Associated Press reports. Over the weekend, McDonald was arrested on a domestic violence charge after he allegedly assaulted a woman holding a baby. The Bears cut McDonald on Monday.
The audio recording is of a woman identified as the mother of the alleged victim, who tells a dispatcher at 3:41 a.m. PST on Monday that McDonald is drunk, per the AP report.

McDonald's lawyer, Steve DeFilippis, maintains that his client is innocent.
"[T]here was no physical contact, and if so, there was no crime," DeFilippis said, per the Chicago Tribune.
