Lightning, severe weather temporarily stop Vikings-Raiders preseason game

No, that's not Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater lighting up the scoreboard. That's an intense lightning strike eerily close to TCF Bank Stadium.

Because of lightning and severe weather, including tornado warnings, the Vikings twice delayed Saturday night's preseason game against the Oakland Raiders and evacuated the stadium. The delays lasted about nearly 90 minutes. The Vikings, however, outlasted the Raiders, winning 20-12.

The team said fans needed to evacuate to three locations on the University of Minnesota's campus.
