LB remains question for Packers going into draft Day 3
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) The Green Bay Packers are happy with the athleticism and versatility that they've added to the team in the first two days of the NFL draft.
They still haven't picked a linebacker, though. That could be a focus when the draft wraps up Saturday.
The Packers' next pick is the 129th overall selection, the first of six overall.
Inside linebacker was thought to be a top need in Green Bay, especially after the team cut ties with veterans A.J. Hawk and Brad Jones. The Packers had to play pass rusher Clay Matthews on the inside to help shore up the defense last year.
General manager Ted Thompson says he's confident with the team's options. He also says the moves aren't signs that Matthews might play inside again, either.
