Latavius Murray Named FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week

Thanks to a big performance in Week 9, Oakland Raiders running back Latavius Murray has been named FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week.

The accolades for the Oakland Raiders keep on coming, this time it’s Latavius Murray getting in on the action. In a fan vote, Murray was named FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week thanks to a career day.

20 carries for 114 yards and 3 TDs was the damage Latavius done against the Broncos on Sunday night. Murray looked as good as he ever has in his career, running with decisiveness, lateral agility, finishing runs and being a force around the goal-line.

It was the second highest rushing total of Murray’s career, the fourth time he’s gone over the 100-yard mark and the first time he has scored three touchdowns in a single game.

Murray joins Khalil Mack as the second Raider to receive an award in Week 9.
