Landon Collins scores incredible TD on interception (Video)

New York Giants defensive back Landon Collins comes up with an amazing 45-yard pick-six of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Case Keenum off a Tavon Austin tip.

Week 7 of the 2016 NFL season began with a bang in the first-ever NFL game at Twickenham Stadium in London.

Up 10-3 in the second quarter, Rams quarterback Case Keenum tries to find No. 1 wide receiver Tavon Austin in the middle of the field for a big pickup. Austin was crushed when trying to make the catch, forcing a deflection into the middle of the field.  The ball was then found by Giants’ second-year safety Landon Collins, who began an odyssey toward the end zone.  After a wild return, Collins ended up with six points on a 45-yard interception return for a touchdown.

The former defensive standout for the Alabama Crimson Tide made the Rams offense look like a befuddled offense in the SEC. For Collins, the touchdown was the first of his NFL career, channeling his inner Eddie Lacy or Mark Ingram on the return.

Though Austin would have the first-ever touchdown in Twickenham on a catch in the first quarter, Collins delivered the most exciting play of the first half. After Robbie Gould made thePAT, the Giants would tie the Rams at 10 points apiece.

These are two 3-3 teams in the NFC. The winner has to feel good about its NFC playoffs chances getting back over the .500 mark. The loser may not have a legitimate shot to win its respective division in 2016. The Dallas Cowboys and the Seattle Seahawks only have one loss on the season entering Week 7.
