Kollar could be just the guy to whip Denver's line into shape

He coached up stars like Mario Williams and J.J. Watt in Houston.

Now, new defensive line coach Bill Kollar is in Denver -- and he's ready to chew out a few Broncos uglies if they're unwilling to go the extra mile.

“Bill wants a lot," said Antonio Smith, who followed Kollar from the Texans to Denver. "No matter who you are, he wants a lot. I think that really helped me out in Houston."

That means Kollar could be the perfect guy for a group of underachievers. Linemen like Sylvester Williams, Malik Jackson, and Marvin Austin Jr. need a little extra motivation to up their respective games.

Jackson can already sense his new coach will push the envelope this summer in training camp.

"That’s what I’m learning." he said. "You have to have a great work ethic. If you don’t have a good work ethic and you’re not willing to learn and go out there and produce, you’re not going to play for him.”

Maybe the Broncos defensive line took it a little too easy after 2013's Super Bowl run. It sounds like that won't happen under Kollar's watch.
