Knile Davis sinks even further down the Chiefs' depth chart at RB
Knile Davis was supposed to be the insurance policy Kansas City needed for Jamaal Charles.
That policy has seemingly expired. Now, the third-year reserve is an afterthought in his own backfield and seems destined for a change of scenery.
Davis has done himself no favors with poor blitz pickup and worse receiving skills. But he was the power element of K.C.'s rushing attack just last year. He averaged eight carries a game behind Jamaal Charles.
The Chiefs opted for a backfield remodel featuring Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware when Charles went down. It's been successful -- and that's left Davis as an exposable back.
