Julius Peppers now ranks among top 10 for career sacks
Green Bay Packers outside linebacker Julius Peppers is one of the most accomplished sack masters in the game today. He had 10.5 sacks in 2015, bringing his career total up to 136.
Peppers is now tied with Carolina's Jared Allen for the most sacks since they became an official stat in 1982.

No active player has more career sacks than Peppers, who racked up the majority of his quarterback takedowns with the Carolina Panthers (81 from 2002-2009). Six of the eight retired players ahead of him are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Peppers, a former second-overall pick out of North Carolina, could have a bust in Canton one day, too.
Peppers turns 36 years old this month, so his productive career may be nearing its end. While Bruce Smith is pretty far out of reach at the top with 200 career sacks, the Packers pass-rusher could move into the top five with one more double-digit sack season.
Green Bay has Peppers under contract for one more year; he's slated to make $7 million in 2016.
