Julio Jones is ready to work, attends OTAs without new contract

While multiple veterans are skipping out on OTAs in an attempt to land new deals, Julio Jones will apparently not be one of those players. The ridiculously talented wide receiver from the Atlanta Falcons is ready to let the contract work itself out while doing what he does best.

According to Marc Sessler of NFL.com, Jones attended the start of OTAs without his long-term extension.

As Sessler explains, "Jones is a candidate to become one of the highest-paid players at his position, where Calvin Johnson tops the list with a contract worth just over $16 million per season. The Falcons picked up Jones' fifth-year option for 2015 and could slap him with the franchise tag in 2016 if a deal can't be worked out."

It's a long, frustrating process at times it seems, but Jones is focused on football, which is a great thing for the Falcons.
