Jon Gruden grooms Carson Wentz for the NFL by beating him with a pool toy

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach turned ESPN NFL analyst Jon Gruden recently hosted outgoing North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz at his "QB Camp" where Gruden whacked him repeatedly with a pool noodle.

Gruden didn't go rogue at a pool party -- he used the noodle to simulate a busy, compressed pocket like the kind Wentz will face in the NFL. But Gruden did take one crack after Wentz released the ball, I suppose to replicate a late hit.

Also at camp, Wentz, one of the top QB prospects, had to pull Gruden during some resistance/speed training:
