Jets fullback Tommy Bohanon has broken collarbone

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) New York Jets fullback Tommy Bohanon broke his collarbone in the team's 24-17 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday and his season could be in jeopardy.

Coach Rex Ryan says Monday that Bohanon played the entire second half with the injury, and the fullback is seeking another medical opinion before deciding whether to have surgery. Ryan adds that the Jets will bring in some fullbacks for workouts.

Bohanon was a seventh-round draft pick out of Wake Forest last year and has played in every game since joining the Jets.

Ryan says wide receiver David Nelson has a ''pretty good'' sprained left ankle, and his status is also uncertain.

Rookie safety Calvin Pryor has a bruised thigh, but Ryan says he should be fine.
