Jesse Williams says he's cleared to work out after cancer surgery

Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Jesse Williams underwent kidney surgery for Papillary Type 2 cancer just two weeks ago.

On Thursday, Williams took to Twitter to share some good news about his speedy recovery. Williams says in the post he is cleared for light workouts.

After the Twitter post, Williams posted an Instagram photo of him and Richard Sherman with an emotional message attached.

An error occurred while retrieving the Instagram post. It might have been deleted.

It is quite remarkable he is already cleared to be back on the field just two weeks after surgery. Here's to hoping Williams will share more good news via social media very soon.
