News broke this week that ESPN NFL Insider Chris Mortensen has been diagnosed with Stage 4 throat cancer. Needless to say, it has shook the world of sports media and the past days have seen countless members of the industry reach out with their well-wishes for one of their own.

FOX NFL Insider Jay Glazer took time on Sunday to send a special message to the man who guided him when he was an up-and-coming reporter.

This comes on the heels of Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald paying tribute to Mortensen after his huge victory over the Green Bay Packers on Saturday night.
